Involving the use of a 3D Laser Scanner, point cloud modelling is ideal for designing manufacturing parts, quality inspections and any project which requires visualisation and mass customisation applications. It is the ideal starting point for the making of CAD models, or models made of either polygon or triangle mesh.

Using 3D laser scanning, we’re capable of producing over 100,000 3D measurements per second. This data is then converted into a 3D point cloud, which is then used to make a solid CAD model.
